Working Week for Notts TV
With no assets, a fast approaching transmission date and almost no money to spend Notts TV asked Bottletop to produce an animated title sequence for its business programme ‘Working Week’ that reflected the diversity of businesses, large and small, in Nottingham. We talked with the producers at Robin Hood Media about the kinds of businesses they had lined up to film – even though nothing had yet been shot. We then drew or filmed our own images to use in the titles because of the lack of assets available. By using a circular motif throughout the sequence Bottletop was able to unify a series of otherwise unrelated images into an animation which hints at the rich diversity of companies covered in the programme.
