We were contacted by Nottingham University Hospital’s (NUH) Senior Communications Manager, Jack Adlam, who asked us to create an animated video explaining the vital role of health research in the Trust.
The brief specified that the animation should be engaging, show that it was made in Nottingham for a Nottingham audience and should NOT look like it was produced by the NHS.
Our team thought the existing NUH Research logo lent itself to the creation of a group of NUH characters who could help bring the video to life and could be used in further marketing collateral. Working with NUH we produced and refined a script keeping the duration short and punchy. The animation was fully storyboarded for approval before recording a professional voiceover and going into production with the drawings and animation. The video will appear on the NUH website, at events and in social media campaigns.
