BBC Nottingham asked us to create an animation using vox pops where young people explained the things they would like politicians to do in order to make them happy. The brief called for the vox pops to be illustrated in an engaging and creative way with in-vision text echoing the words being spoken. Various formats were required to be versioned from the 16:9 master for use in social media. With a very short deadline we rotoscoped people from their backgrounds and added animated text and graphic cut out elements.
The animation has been used across BBC News Online, the BBC website and BBC Facebook page.
