Video Production

We had a fabulous time at the Royal Television Society Awards on Tuesday 20th November. We were nominated for a Craft Award in Post Production – great recognition for the work we did for the BBC on The Ashes promo. We saw lots of familiar faces, drank too many fizzy drinks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though we didn’t win this time!

We were delighted to be asked to work with Carrick Therapeutics, a company making new discoveries in targeting aggressive cancers. Bottletop has worked with CEO Dr. Elaine Sullivan and some of her team previously at AstraZeneca and at Lilly so we have a good understanding of the way scientists work and the need for accuracy and the importance of non-disclosure.

We were asked by Birmingham-based production company Maverick to design still graphics and animation for BBC iWonder – the interactive, online guides for the curious mind inspired by BBC programmes. You can see the project here:

Bottletop is twelve years old today!

Bottletop is working with Liniar on animated video content for a major industry trade event. The Derbyshire-based company manufactures  eco-friendly uPVC that can be used in a range of products from windows to decking that is all made in Britain.

We were delighted to be invited to the inaugural screening of 2015’s Share a Story winning entries on October 26th at the Lowry Theatre, next to CITV’s home at Media City. The five competition winners each had their storyboard made into an animation for television. Bottletop’s animation was devised by Serafina Wagner and tells the story of Pod the Odd Person. Peter Andre, the Share a Story ambassador, was on hand to congratulate the children on their amazing creativity and imagination.

Bottletop is delighted to be working with Winchester-based energy company, Utilita, on a series of animated videos featuring their trademark Polar Bear. The videos will explain clearly the operation of Utilita’s Pay-As-You-Go energy meters along with trouble-shooting tips. Video production includes script development and storyboarding.
