Visitors to websites now expect to see attractive video content as part of any company's web marketing strategy. The average attention span of a web viewer today is measured in seconds - vital seconds in which there is one chance to engage and capture the attention of potential clients in a way that is hard to do with text alone.

Web video can be particularly useful to showcase technical products, explain product ranges and to show examples of product use 'in the field' as well as operation tutorials. Public information messages which may otherwise appear wordy and dull become animated and therefore memorable and engaging for the viewer.

At Bottletop we can deliver your web video in any size or format you require, on disc or via ftp, from our Nottingham offices.

We always 'master' at broadcast standard which allows for options on how you use your video at a later date - for instance exporting to DVD for a conference or event.

We can advise on the how to deliver the web video you need without exceeding your budget or deadline.

Video Bitrate

Your original uncompressed video file will be huge.  To put it on the web you first need to compress it.  Your video conversion software will likely ask you what bitrate you want to use.  The higher the bitrate, the higher the video quality will be, but the video will take longer to stream and could mean stuttering playback. It's a fine balance between speed and quality.

At Bottletop we always make multiple test versions of each video to compare data rate with video picture quality.

Did you know?

There is no mystery about producing video for the internet.

The only difference between web video and any other kind of video production is the compression used in the final process which enables the video to run smoothly on your website.

At Bottletop the videos we produce are all made to the same exacting standards - and it shows.
