Unlikely Lovers

 

Following a successful storyboard pitch against three other companies Manchester-based production company Turn On TV asked Bottletop produce the titles for a new ITV2 series, Unlikely Lovers.

As the title suggests the series features some fairly odd couples and the stories of how they got together. Working on the theme that it’s largely luck that determines meeting one’s better half, Bottletop used a slot machine to illustrate the randomness of partnerships.

The couples were shot individually against green screen and composited into a 3D model of a slot machine. Romantic, vibrant colours were chosen to reflect the over-the-top nature of the programme.
