The UCH Education Centre

 

The University College Hospital (UCH) Education Centre is the UK’s most advanced medical training and teaching facility. Bottletop was commissioned to design and build a showcase website for the centre and also a database driven website for internal use, dealing with clinical statistics, to be used as an analytical tool.

A 3D fly-through animation of The Education Centre was produced to give an overview of the facilities and was incorporated into the showcase website. Following a two-day shoot Bottletop also produced a live-action showreel of the centre in use, which demonstrates the facilities including the Conference Centre and the Minimal Access Surgery Unit.

As part of the training resources within The Education Centre Bottletop has also produced a video filmed at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital which focuses on management structure and the reaction of staff to radical change to enable learning by review.
