Gardening Leave video
Bottletop was delighted to be asked by the national charity Gardening Leave to produce a video explaining their vital work with ex-services personnel. The film will be shown at fundraising events and also on Gardening Leave's website. The aim is to attract donations and also to alert ex-servicemen and women of the existence of the charity from which they may benefit.
Gardening Leave provides a non-clinical approach to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the form of horticultural therapy. Walled gardens provide a secure haven for traumatised soldiers whose symptoms of stress may not surface for many years after returning to civilian life. Bottletop filmed at two of Gardening Leave's locations - Auchincruive near Ayr and the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea pensioners, where Ben Fogle was on hand to declare the garden open.
