The Gadget Show
Branding, titles, stings and bumpers

The Gadget Show
North One Television, producers of The Gadget Show for Five, originally asked Bottletop to re-brand the series in 2004. The brief called for a clean, sleek and iconic logo that could easily translate across all media, merchandising and the web.
The programme is a consumer-led popular show which looks at, tests and recommends a whole host of diverse gadgetry from mobile phones to radio-controlled helicopters. Bottletop’s idea was to turn the power symbol, a unifying element in all of these items, through 90 degrees to form a G – the iconic logo was born.
We created the first set of titles which were built entirely in 3D, stings and bumpers, a ratings system and web graphics. Following the success of the branding Bottletop were asked to refresh the titles in 2006 and again in 2008 tweaking the look and feel of the logo to reflect the new studio set.
The logo and branding is comprehensively used on all Gadget Show projects – most recently Gadget Show Live at the NEC.
