New graphics for The Gadget Show

The latest series of The Gadget Show has aired with new titles and graphics produced by Bottletop. The brief was to re-design the look and feel of the show to reflect the fun and entertainment of the series and to move away from a hard-edged techy style. Following a pitch, Bottletop was commissioned to produce titles and a complete content graphics package. A fresh, new colour scheme for the graphics has been established which allows for flexibility within the different strands of the programme.

Kilimanjaro ? ... Done!

Anne has made it to the top of Kilimanjaro.Of the people attempting to climb it, just over half actually make it to the top, so well done!and the Kilimanjaro bottletop is real ... what are the chances ?

Rumble in the jungle

Bottletop has produced motion graphics for Lafarge's annual corporate event. Commissioned by Q-Base Media, Bottletop were given the theme of 'Tribal' and created an opening sequence with animated rainforest and animals. An overview of 2009 was also produced as a diary montage posted on the wall of a jungle hut. This is the third year that Bottletop has been asked to produce the graphics for this major event.

Bottletop reaches new heights....

This week Anne is off to Tanzania to (attempt to) climb Kilimanjaro. At just under 19,500 feet Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and the highest mountain in Africa. So...either she'll be back in two weeks or we'll be advertising for a new designer - watch this space.

Christmas and New Year

We are closing the office from 24th December and re-opening on January 4th 2010.With lots of projects to be finished by Christmas we ran out of time to complete our spectacular annual e-card which we know you all await with eager anticipation..... so if you didn't receive one it's not because we don't like you anymore. CITV Christmas promotion ...

Bottletop has produced several 40 second animations for CITV's christmas campaign.

New lyrics to Jingle Bells feature the channels characters appearing in a seasonal village scene.

Built using Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D and After Effects.

New CITV rebrand goes live ...

ITV children's channel CITV has been rebranded.

Bottletop was asked to produced over 40 animated versions of the new logo.

The new identity was launched in November.

The Gadget Show 2010

We were delighted to be asked a couple of weeks ago to pitch to refresh The Gadget Show for 2010. Bottletop originally branded the show back in 2004 and has produced a couple of versions of the titles since, but this time the producers (North One Television/Five) asked us to give the show a completely new look. It has been a bit tricky juggling an office move, current clients and a pitch we very much wanted to win, but..... we did it! Following a meeting at Five's HQ in London today Bottletop is currently working on the new look graphics which will be on screen in the new year.

Animations for Oracle

Bottletop has produced a series of animations for Oracle to be used in their international corporate communications. Commissioned by Breathe Productions, Bottletop created a vibrant animating energy trail which was tracked over existing HD footage of Oracle's major international locations and its HQ in California creating an introductory title sequence. Longer animations were then produced featuring the cities of Tokyo, Dubai, Milan, Paris, London and New York in more depth to create animations for global communications from those specific locations.

Sunday at the movies.....

Bottletop was invited to attend today's screening of the first three episodes of 'Jinx' at the Phoenix Cinema on Finchley High Road. The audience was composed of cast, crew and lots of young viewers who were all delighted by what they saw. The Phoenix, which has been named 'the best single cinema in London' by Time Out was the perfect setting. After the show the kids fought tooth and nail to get their hands on signed copies of the Lulu Baker books by Fiona Dunbar on which the series is based. Jinx starts transmission on Saturdays and Sundays from 31st October at 10.30am on CBBC.

Fur & Feathers fly ...

Bottletop has provided the animations for Citv's latest half-term promotion. Fur & Feathers puts programmes featuring furry animals against programmes featuring feathered ... er ... birds! Built in Cinema 4D and assembled in After Effects.

Bottletop is moving. We are really excited to be one of the first tenants at Antenna, a new media centre in Nottingham. A stone's throw from the Lace Market, Antenna is a smart, new members-only creative work space featuring a restaurant and bar, screening rooms and meeting rooms. Other tenants include EM Media and Spool Films.

Press coverage for Jinx titles

This week's 'Broadcast', the national industry magazine, has chosen to feature Bottletop's recent titles for Jinx in its Creative Review section. Transmission begins on October 31st, every Saturday and Sunday at 10.30am on CBBC.

Jinx Titles for CBBC

Bottletop has just delivered the titles for Jinx - a new children's series for CBBC - to meet a deadline that will enable producer Kindle Entertainment to launch the show at MIP Junior in Cannes in October. Shot and delivered in HD, the titles feature a mix of live action and animation to reflect the fun, chaos, mess and mayhem of the programme storylines.

Vimto Ad for Saudi

Strudel Films commissioned Bottletop to produce several animated sequences for TV advertising in Saudi Arabia. The Vimto bottle and label needed to be photorealistic whilst showing the graphics 'writing on'. Created in Cinema4D, the animations are being used to promote the famous fruit cordial in a country where it is the market leader.

BBC titles shoot

A couple of the team were at the BBC's Oxford Road Studios in Manchester on Friday to shoot the cast for the 'Jinx' titles. Shooting on HD against blue and white screen, Bottletop were up against a tight schedule working around the producer's run of the first episode being held the same day. Everything ran like clockwork and the shots are in the can - first episode delivery is scheduled for launch at MIP Junior in Cannes.

CBBC commission for Bottletop

Bottletop has been commissioned by Kindle Entertainment to create the titles for its new CBBC series 'Jinx!'. The 13 x 30 minute series will air in the autumn and is being shot in Manchester at the BBC's Oxford Road studios. The programme is based on the Lulu Baker trilogy of novels by Fiona Dunbar. Lulu cooks up recipes with magical effects, aided and abetted by Cookie, a mischievous fairy.

Huntik comes to CITV

Bottletop has produced several animated idents for CITV to promote a new series coming soon to the channel. Huntik follows the adventures of Lok Lambert, Sophie Casterwill, their mentor Dante Vale and the rest of the Huntik Foundation as they use magical powers and allies called Titans to explore strange locations, find lost treasures and battle evil.
